The drive from the airport to our door is one thing you will not have to plan. For clients coming from out of the area, our admissions team helps arrange travel, including flights, and coordinates pickup so the whole arrival is handled. Distance should not keep you or your loved one from getting here.
How We Handle Travel
The drive to Skilton Institute might be a few hours away, or it might be a flight across several states. Either way, getting here is not something you or your loved one has to figure out alone. Our admissions team handles the details so the first day starts with treatment, not travel stress.
Once you call and complete an initial phone assessment, we can begin coordinating everything on the travel side. That often includes:
- Booking flights for clients coming from out of the area
- Arranging pickup from the airport when the plane lands
- Direct transportation from arrival to the facility
- A clear packing list so nothing important gets left behind
For families sending someone from far away, the worry is usually the same. Will they actually make it here? We stay in contact through each step, so you know where things stand.
